13" tall, composition, c.1942-45, "Peggy McCall, the Modern Fashion Model" mannequin with painted blue eyes, lashes, closed mouth, molded and painted red hair, jointed long arms, legs separated but straight (to stand) having very, forties-style black sturdy shoes. Her one arm is somewhat straight and the other bent at the elbow, incised: Fashiondol at her waist. She is wearing a long cotton frock with flower print and lace bodice, excellent to mint condition, probably made by Heirloom Needlework Guild, Inc., A Subsidiary of Dritz-Traum Co., Inc. 1942, to instruct in sewing fashions.
