Something a little different! An antique dolly in her original labeled box. Adorable painted bisque, sockethead girl with very nicely painted features, large, expressive brown eyes with shadow and upper lashes, high cheek color and closed mouth. She measures 14" tall and is incised: OUR PET Germany 4/0 with a soft brown human hair wig, pretty pink, cotton, antique dress with set-in yoke and red trim, antique stockings. Her body is a quality, fully- jointed new replacement as the original one was too disintegrated to save. Her original, lace-trimmed pink box is printed with antique toy designs and her name OUR PET, Germany, etc. The box is in mint condition, fully litho- graphed on all sides with the design incorporating her name. She has a diagonal hairline at the back of her head which has been sealed. See item #1719 for another M-I-B "Our Pet", baby version. Great pair.
