6 1/2" long, brown and tan mohair Dachshund puppy, "Beppo", button in his left ear (raised script, c.late 40's-1950), fully jointed including head. He is pictured on page 162, "Teddy Bears & Steiff Animals-2nd edition- Mandel with brown glass eyes, open mouth with tongue-no collar, excellent except that his right ear is missing. (you might be able to make another ear using his one ear as a pattern). Very hard to find and very cute little dog.
