Very EARLY and RARE, c.1938, (or earlier), all cloth, 16" tall, "Jiminy Cricket" of Walt Disney's "Pinocchio", possibly by Ideal and one of the earliest versions. He wears all of his ORIGINAL felt CLOTHING, including his large red hat. He has large, black feet that stand well and wears his black felt, tux jacket with long tails and large, white felt collar over pale aqua blue, felt shorts and red felt vest with big brass button, mitt-type hands. He has a large head with molded, mask- type (cute) features including huge, black side-glancing, (pie-shaped) black eyes, smiling mouth and black (insect) antennae. Very cute arthropod with some color fading and age wear due to age.
