Very unusual, early antique bisque sockethead child incised only: D. over A 6 (no country of origin, possibly Germany). She is 25" tall, on a quality wood and composition ball-jointed body in excellent condition with original finish. She has a pretty open mouth with outline and six upper teeth, big brown glass, sleep eyes, finely painted upper and lower lashes, brows and excellent coloring. She wears a lovely, antique two-piece walking suit and original dark red mesh stockings and a replaced wig in brown curls, very becoming. Very lovely doll in excellent condition, mystery maker, c.1880. What a beauty!
