11" long, very unusual, signed: Germany on back of the neck, Indian baby (looks like the Bye-lo baby) with composition head and cloth torso. He has the small, side-glancing, painted eyes, closed mouth and newborn look with black painted hair and flatened nose. There is a silent cryer in his little tummy and he retains one of his composition hands with few fingers damaged. I'll include a better pair for you to attach. His color is terra cotta and dates from around 1920. The dearest little guy, quite rare. See p. 144, "Doll Reader", June/July, 1990 for the black version, called "Honey Child" and page 622, "20th Century Dolls"-Anderton for Indian Bye-lo photo.
