16" tall, antique bisque sockethead girl incised: F Y Nippon 402 with large brown, sleep glass eyes, pretty coloring, open mouth with row of pretty teeth, upper and lower multi-stroke lashes and brows, c.1891-1921, compo. and wood, ball-jointed body with stick-type thighs, straight wrists, lovely hands, wig and antique wool, flower-printed dress with lots of hand embroid ery, lace. Very nice, early Nippon doll, excellent quality, pretty bisque.
