24" tall, beautiful, antique bisque sockethead child by Goebel (Hummel) and seldom found in such a large size. She is incised: Bavaria 120 8 (large) Bee symbol, W on G, W G on head and has wonderful quality bisque with great coloring, large, blue glass, sleep eyes, with upper and lower multi-stroke lashes, multi-stroke brown brows, lovely open, outlined mouth with teeth and tongue and an excellent composition and wood ball-jointed body, nicely repainted long ago, wearing very nice, old fashioned, long cotton dress, slip, panties and bonnet, black leatherette shoes and stockings, long brown human hair wig in curls with thick bangs. Charming example of this maker.
