Charming, little 5" tall (seated) figure of a Kate Greenaway style girl on a swing, c.1880. She wears a huge, molded straw bonnet tied with a wide lavender ribbon and decorated with molded feather plume, flower and molded lace around her face. She wears a matching molded dress with double ruffle at the hemline and a pale green shawl, black boots with blue bow trim and her hands grip the rope swing. Her painted features include blue eyes and blond hair with good complexion. Very good overall condition except for an old reglue (hard to find) under one arm. Heavy quality bisque with good color.
