Antique bisque, sockethead model #246 by Armand Marseille, Germany, outstanding example of this pretty character girl, 26" tall. She has deep blue, antique glass sleep eyes with thick dark lashes as well as finely painted upper and lower lashes, molded and multi-stroke painted brows that exactly match her original dark blond wig and a lovely open mouth with outlined lips and row of porcelain teeth, lovely cheek coloring. Her original composition and wood body is fully jointed and in excellent condition (except for one pinkie finger broken). Her clothing is completely antique and original to her consisting of pantaloons with lace trim beneath an adorable cotton striped sailor-type dress with dark blue trim on the collar and hem, brown knit stockings and replaced black shoes. Her head is incised: Made in Germany/Armand Marseille/390n./D.R.G.M./246/A.10M. and she is in excellent condtition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
