VERY UNUSUAL, 12 1/2" long, double-headed topsy-turvy (black & white faces) baby doll, circa 1910-20, with lovely painted features and molded hair. The white child has blue eyes and the black baby has brown eyes. They have a joined, sawdust-filled body and arms and wear their very unusual, original clothing: pale green and pink plaid dress with matching ruffled bonnet, apron with criss-cross straps, dark red dress with white bib, apron and ruffled collar (both sides edged with matching trim as Bruckner used). Very good overall condition with some slight paint flaking, small mend in hand.
