WONDERFUL, all original, c.1860-90, antique bisque doll's head with large brown, inset glass eyes, open mouth and original blond wig incised: DARLING set upon a long wooden stick, measuring 14 1/2", not including the original peaked bonnet with bell attached to tip. Very appealing child-type face with thick brown eyebrows, multi-stroke upper & lower lashes. Her pale blue bonnet is trimmed with gilt and has an attached cape with matching flowing fabric, long silk ribbons with matching brass bells attached to the ends. Charming baby toy, finely preserved. Makes a wonderful doll accessory.
