10" tall, c.1935, Russian mechanical or wind-up doll with finely molded and painted head and hands, thick mohair wig tied with a kerchief, long, cotton matching, printed dress, which covers the cone-like body and mechanism for working the doll. When wound, she waves her hanky and moves the other arm back and forth while going around in circles, etc. Well made, unusual toy.
