15" tall, composition head, arms and lower legs, cloth torso, advertising boy doll by IDEAL, made from 1914-1919 for the UNEEDA BISCUIT CO. He wears his original two-piece blue/white bloomer suit beneath his original yellow cotton slicker, also darker yellow rain hat, molded boots, relacement box of Uneeda Biscuits under his arm. Basically good condition altho there is considerable paint wear to head and hands, but his features are clear-just play wear, which could be lightly enhanced. Perfect value is $600 as seen on page 182, "Modern Collector Dolls"-Pat Smith (8th series).
