21" tall, poured wax child, French made, possibly by Marsh, c.1870 with a turned shoulderhead of heavy wax having child-like features, sleeping brown glass eyes, closed mouth and having her original hand sewn, wig of blond ringlets. Her body is a lovely, French kid one having individually stitched slender fingers and stitched toes. She is wearing her original baby gown of tucked cotton and lace, matching slips and underwear, stockings, etc. Beautiful pale pink coloring with a slightly flatened nose and three slight (short) hairlines near the eyes, (not bad at all) that do not detract from her appearance. Lovely detailed ears-generally very good condition. Unusual.
