Pair of antique composition, 11" tall, Dutch children, circa 1940s, totally original and in mint condition each wearing all their original ethnic costumes of black wool with embroidery trim and wooden shoes. They each have sleep blue eyes with closed mouths and are jointed at the shoulders and hips with five-piece bodies with stiff necks. The boy wears a black wool hat and the girl wears a lace bonnet over her curly blond wig along with a colorful, striped wool skirt and red bead necklace. Both are in excellent (like new) condition and will fit nicely into a china cabinet.
