14" tall, composition shoulderhead, c. 1921, child movie star, JACKIE COOGAN doll with molded and painted "buster" style hair, closed mouth and painted eyes, cloth torso, legs and upper arms, composition lower arms and hands (bent at the elbows). He wears his ORIGINAL outfit, sewn in cloth LABEL: Jackie Coogan Kid/18T3163/by Jackie Coogan/patent Pending on the faded blue striped cotton trousers with suspenders, knit shirt with collar and long sleeves, one original knit sock. Marked on back E.I.H.Co. 1921. Generally good condition with repainting as seen on page 335, "20th Century Dolls"-Anderton.
