Wonderful, 10" tall, antique painted bisque sockethead TODDLER girl with sleep, blue glass eyes, open mouth with wobbly tongue and two teeth, rosey cheeks, multi-stroke eyebrows with eye shadow and original, gorgeous, long blond mohair wig in soft curls peaking out beneath her original, elaborately embroidered, silk lined, lace trimmed bonnet. She wears her complete matching, original costume of one-piece blouse with attached panties beneath her long black skirt covered by the orig. dark blue (fine wool) apron with embroidered flowers to match the bonnet. Over this is a lovely black velveteen jacket and finely embroidered wool shawl with fringe, original black leatherette shoes with ties and original socks. Outstanding example in excellent condition with just some paint crazing to the legs (which has been sealed to prevent further crazing). Incised: Heubach Koppelsdorf/ 342-146/Germany.
