25" tall, antique bisque sockethead girl, made in Germany and distributed by George Borgfeldt Co., New York, c.1929. She is incised: My Girlie/III/Germany with lovely cheek color, beautiful large, sleep brown glass eyes with deep brown hair lashes as well as painted lashes, multi-stroke brows, open mouth with teeth and lovely replaced, dark brown wig in curls. She wears what appears to be her original pantaloons and slips, original socks and beautiful pink linen shoes and a lovely, replaced pink satin dress with three-quarter length sleeves with antique lace at the edges and at the neckline. Excellent condition. What a beauty!
