Wonderful, circa c.1920s, German (stamped Germany), noisemaker with ratchet type mechanism that is held in the hand and spun around to make noise. Has a wonderful, composition*, black cat full-figure on the end with tail in the air and painted features. Very well made item with wood blocks between the bars and a shaped wooden handle. *plaster of Paris or solid papirmache. Entire piece is in excellent condition. NICE early item!
