9 1/2" long, c. 1930s, flat-face, oil painted "topsy-turvy" (black & white) faced cloth doll with white child's face on one end, blond painted hair, blue eyes, long lashes and wearing flower-printed cotton dress which re- verses to red & white polka dot print dress for the black child beneath the skirt. The other child has black face and brown eyes, long lases & black pianted hair with two long black yarn braids tied with red ribbons. See them on page 70, 12th Blue Book-Foulke as well as our item #3513. Very good to excellent condition (few tiny paint flakes on black child). Great PAIR.
