12 1/2" long, all cloth, mint condition, c.1940-50, black and white TOPSY- TURVY commercially made, girl doll with hand painted features and yarn hair on each head. The black doll has a very "Aunt Jemima" type look with red cotton bandanna and red/white/blue/yellow print dress, white apron with "New Orleans, La." stamped on the edge. The skirt reverses to reveal a blond child dressed in blue calico printed skirt and bonnet. Very sweet storybook doll.
