Classic, 14" tall, cloth comic character, "Little Lulu", c.1944, by Georgene Averill, designed by Marjorie H. Buell. She has an adorable swivel head with impressed and painted features, original black yarn, curly hair and ribbon and nicely shaped, chubby cloth body with black shoes and red socks made as part of the legs. She wears only the white collar with red ribbon tie that goes over her (missing) simple red cotton dress and is in generally very good condition with some light dirt smudges (just needs a little light cleaning and a dress). Adorable, vintage little cutie.
