18" tall, very RARE, character "Bambino" cloth toddler girl by Mabel Lucie Attwell for Chad Valley (see page 118, 12th Blue Book-Foulke for photo). She has inset side-glancing, brown glass eyes and cute grin, chestnut brown human hair, wonderful color and expression, swivel head, jointed arms and legs, totally original clothing, pink and blue flower-petal effect felt dress, matching shoes, socks and undies, clutches bunch of flowers. Very good condition except for age darkening to arms & legs only. Label on foot. Circa 1927, see page 47, "Cloth Dolls"-Judd-made of velvet with felt head.
