11 1/2" tall, c.1920-30, black ethnic, character Mammy doll with black cloth body and flat wooden feet, black hands and head are also wood with exaggerated painted features (gourd) and rattle sound when shaken. She wears all her wonderful ORIGINAL clothing: red, white & blue printed cotton long dress with separate long white cotton apron & bandana, wire armature makes her poseable. Wonderful "black"collectible in excellent condition.
