Adorable bisque sockethead, character baby, c.1984, by Gallery Originals for Avon Products, Inc. Dist., New York, N. Y. This is a copy of a baby doll in the Shelburne Museum and one of their "Museum Reproduction Series". She has a beautiful character face with open mouth with two molded upper teeth and sleep brown eyes, dimples and smooth bisque with a five-piece bisque baby body with good detail to fingers and toes, blond baby-style wig and wears complete original, labeled, layered gown with slips, bib, diaper and bonnet, "baby" wristlet-excellent condition. Wonderful collector doll. Has leaflet explaining origin of doll attached to wrist. This character baby is a great example for a beginning collector!
