Invented by Enoch Rice Morrison of New York City, patented in England, 1862, with A.V. Newton this elegant, perfectly working, china head model has the EXTREMELY RARE, brunette hair, double-braid across the crown, tied at the back with molded bow, hair divided at the center and pulled low completely covering her ears, very long, slender neck, beautiful blushed cheeks, blue painted eyes, elegant nose and lovely mouth with space between lips, eye corner dots. She measures 10" tall, with gold metal boots, wonderful kid arms with individual fingers & bracelets. Skirt and satin slip cover the bell-shaped cylinder and wood base housing the mechanism that when wound propells her across the floor.
