11 1/2" tall, early, black dancing stick man worked by a metal rod, which is attached to the back. Figure is completely jointed and entirely made of wood with painted features and clothing. Very unusual toy is completely original and a fine example of a late 19th century folk toy. Perfect cond. with no repainting. A true "Dancing Dan" folk toy, rare.
