18 1/2" long, antique bisque sockethead, character baby incised only: 3-11 with sleep, blue glass eyes, upper & lower multi-stroke lashes and brows, open mouth with two upper teeth and molded tongue, solid dome head with well molded and painted hair, excellent five-piece compo and mache baby body with bent limbs, turned up toes and excellent finger detail. He is dressed in antique baby dress and fine French wool, double breasted coat. Lovely baby with very old crack (circle) in back of head in his hair-can be covered by a little boy cap or baby bonnet. Quality doll, French type.
