VERY RARE, antique bisque, SOLID DOME, character baby, 17 1/2" long (Kestner) by Catterfelder Puppenfabrik incised: C. P. 265/45 Germany. He has deeply molded and painted blond hair and large, blue glass, sleep eyes with finely painted upper & lower eyelashes, large ears, multi-stroke painted brows and deep dimples, open mouth with two upper MOLDED teeth and moving tongue, beautiful blush, double-chin, original, (outstanding condition) five-piece, bent-limb baby body with original finish and perfect fingers and toes, finely attired in two-piece, antique, blue striped cotton romper suit with large collar trimmed in antique lace. Excellent (mint) condition. Such a treasure!
