ADORABLE, 9" tall, antique German, all-bisque KEWPIE with jointed arms having starfish hands, legs molded together to stand, signed O'Neill on the base of his feet. He has perfectly molded and painted BLUE wings, good coloring with proper shading, molded and painted tufts of blond hair, huge side-glancing eyes with lashes, watermelon smiling mouth, tiny brows, pink blush to cheeks, HEART-shaped "Kewpie/Germany" label on his chest, "design- patented" round label on his back. Excellent condition except that his one finger is broken and another finger has a flake on the tip-arms need to be reattached as one inside loop is broken. Makes a wonderful mate for #3833.
