22" long, antique bisque, character baby incised: 1120 RE (in a diamond) NIPPON (circa 1891-1921 only) with solid dome sockethead having beautifully painted hair, inset blue glass eyes, nicely painted upper and lower lashes, multi-stroke brows, nice cheek coloring, open mouth with tongue and upper teeth, excellent, original five-piece, bent-limb baby body, well costumed in antique baby dress, undies, stockings and adorable, knitted sandals. Excellent condition character baby that resembles Franz Schmidt babies.
