Large, antique bisque sockethead, 29" tall, character child, model #302, by Ernst Heubach of Germany with big blue, antique glass, sleep eyes, open mouth with outlined lips and pretty teeth, good cheek color, multi-stroke brows and upper and lower painted eyelashes. She is incised: Heubach Koppelsdorf 302-8 Germany and has her original composition and wood, fully jointed body with good finish and in perfect condition, pretty light brown wig in curls with bangs. She wears what appears to be her original dark blue and white polka-dot printed cotton dress with matching bonnet, both trimmed with antique lace (some fading, which does not detract as is just adds to the antique effect) over antique slip and undies, antique socks and shoes. She is just the most charming and irresistible child with her own little personality. Excellent condition. Will fill up a child's chair nicely. Unusual to find this child in a sockethead as this mold number is usually on a kid body.
