16 1/2" tall, unmarked (but having all the characteristics of dolls marked: Indestructible with head size) heavy molded papiermache shoulderhead lady with painted BROWN modelled hair in centerpart, loose curls waved away from face, the hair shaded tan to dark brown and enhanced by lots of stippling (brushmarks) all around the hairline, beautifully shaded blue eyes, white eyedots, double lid lines, eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils and lips, fine original muslin body with sewn-on striped stockings and black leather boots, tassels and red garter, composition lower arms, lots of very fine antique layered undergarments, antique cream wool, two-piece walking costume with brown velvet inserts, pleated ruffle, circa 1880. Exceptional doll in excellent, unretouched condition.
