6 1/2" tall, "Chief Wahoo", rubber squeek toy, c.1948, Cleveland Indians character by Rempel Mfg. Akron Ohio, designed by Fred O. Reinert, Patent No. 2,469,852. He wears mustard, molded-on moccasins and white loincloth and holds a hachet in one raised hand and a clump of black hair in the other, has a very wide, grinning expression showing his large white teeth. Very good overall condition with a very small age split under one leg (does not detract from his great appearance). Very hard to find, major league baseball team mascot toy.
