19" tall, numbered 291 of a limited edition of 750, "Nettie" (retired in 1988) signed on her neck as well as on her certificate. She has a bisque swivel head, inset beautiful blue glass eyes with inset lashes, molded dimples, an open/closed mouth with two teeth and "breather" nostrils, bisque arms and legs with excellent details, cloth body, original labeled clothing (blue flower printed dress, white apron with eyelet trim, pantaloons, black patent shoes and white knit socks) and original long brunette hair with long bangs. Designed and made by Lloyd and Lee Middleton she is one of the series of three dolls ("Sincerity, Simplicity and Nettie") issued at $330 each and currently valued between $475 and $600 each. She is in excellent condition, just needing a small pair of brass frame glasses (sold at teddybear-making stores and craft stores). Ask, also, about our "Sugar Britches" by the same maker.
