10" long, very special CHARACTER baby with MOLDED BISQUE LOOP at the base of the socket head. Head is incised: 9629/I. Has very deeply molded (all over) hair, painted a soft brown, very detailed, intaglio painted eyes with molded eyelids and an open/closed, molded mouth showing his tongue. Very different character face. His bent-limb body is a fine quality, heavy (probably German) original one with a rather pronounced fanny. Really a sweet little guy wearing an antique white baby dress with loads of old lace and matching booties trimmed in blue. Just a SWEETHEART, seldom found.
