Adorable, 14" long, c.1910, black character boy with composition head and lower arms, brown cloth, chubby baby body with joints at shoulders and hips and molded open/closed mouth, cute little nose, painted side-glancing eyes. His body is hard stuffed with bent knees (some old reinforcing) and he wears his orginal tan cotton overalls with turkey red cotton shirt with buttons and patches, has painted black hair and lots of character. Very good overall condition except for some paint wear at the back of his head (touched up). He also has pin-jointed knees. Such a cute fella-ask for more photos! Believe he is "Cotton Joe" by Denivelle for Effanbee.
