Charming, early cloth over stiffened buckrum (similar to molded cloth-faced dolls), Easter egg to hold a bisque or composition baby doll, c.1920-30s, measures 8 1/2" long by 5 1/2" wide (at the widest point). Covered with a muted, pink nursery print of circus animals it divides in half, excellent condition altho it shows some even darkening due to age. Makes a wonderful cradle for a small bisque or all-bisque, antique baby doll or twins.
