14 1/2" tall, wood articulated Schoenhut girl, c.1917-23, known as model #101, or part of the "Kindergarten Dolls", EARLY CARVED HAIR GIRL, fully labeled, (decal) with brown intaglio eyes, carved, dark blond hair, side-parted with molded blue bow. She has the slightly open/closed mouth with carved teeth and wonderful cheek dimple modeling, original paint finish throughout with no touch-ups (although she could use a touch-up to the paint on the tip of her nose and upper lip). She has the fully jointed, wooden body with spring joints and is shown on page 73, (center) "Schoenhut Dolls"-Corson. Makes a wonderful companion to our item #3611or the earlier model #4672.
