19 1/2" tall, EARLY, antique bisque shoulderhead child marked only "C" or "G" (probably for Kestner of Germany), c.1880. This beautiful lady has the prettiest quality bisque with pierced ears, open mouth with inset row of tiny teeth, dark brown glass, inset eyes with upper & lower finely painted lashes and thick, multi-stroke brown eyebrows. Her medium brown, human hair wig is in soft ringlets to match her eyebrows and she wears a lovely antique white gossamer gown over antique slip and matching all-in-one teddy underwear, original kid and cloth body with bisque lower arms (two flakes on fingers, thumb chipped). Excellent overall condition. Special looking.
