12 3/4" tall, VERY UNUSUAL LOOKING, thickly molded, celluloid shoulderhead child with lovely, molded, short hairstyle exposing his/her ears and having individually molded strands of hair, molded and painted features that look typically French, 4 sew holes, no marks. Her body & clothing are completely original and resemble the Kathe Kruse ones-hard stuffed and jointed at the shoulders & hips with individually stitched fingers and separate thumbs. She wears long, cotton stockings, leather, one-strap shoes with buckles, an apron & vest over a linen, long-sleeved shirt and skirt, lace edged undies. This is a very nice example of the EARLY, detailed celluloid European dolls.
