17" tall, beautiful, early celluloid shoulderhead girl with molded side- parted hair, lovely intaglio blue eyes and closed mouth, original cloth body with full composition arms and lower legs (fingers on one hand need rebuilding, some paint peeling, same arm needs additional sewing at the shoulder). Incised: Germany 15 1/2 shield mark, orig. old clothing. Made in 1927 in conjunction with Hendren. Book value as shown on page 48, "Doll Collector's Price Guide", summer 1993 is $275-$325. Hard to find child.
