Special ORIENTAL baby incised: ELLAR inside a six-point star, A. M. GERMANY 3 K. Beautiful, closed mouth bisque baby with oriental features, sleep, (tiny) brown eyes and black painted hair. Head and body have a tan or somewhat yellow tint. He's had a professional repair to two cracks (one at the back and the other across the nose). Really well done. Wonderful and different. He wears his original colorful kimona, too. 12" long. See p. 38, of Dec./Jan., 1986 Doll Reader. Such a difficult doll to findand a wonderful addiditon to any doll collection.
