18" tall, early, c.1860s, antique china shoulderhead lady with six sew holes and having a modified flat top style of black hair with white center part, beautiful facial expression with excellent details including double lid lines, inner eye corner and nostril circles, dividing lip line in a curve to suggest a slight smile, cheek blush, blue eyes. This heavy china lady is on a very old sawdust-stuffed, kid body with original leather legs and heavy twill arms with wonderfully shaped and detailed (antique) hands (very life-like) and wears all her original antique clothing (dress, slip and pantaloons). At one time she must have had a visit to a professional for some shoulder repair (which is not visible unless you look inside the head). She also has an old, faint hairline in her hair that extends high across her forehead (not bad, at all). She makes a charming presence.
