11 1/2" tall, composition Effanbee Pennsylvania Dutch "Mennonite" lady doll c.1936 as pictured and described on pages 19-20, "Focusing On Effanbee Dolls"-Foulke using the "Baby Grumpy" dolls. She has black hair pulled back into a bun beneath a white cotton cap which is covered by her dark blue bonnet. She wears a matching dark blue long dress, matching long apron & shawl, long white slip and white flannel undies, white socks & black shoes. She has the side-glancing eyes & cloth torso, full composition arms, legs and is in generally very good condition (few paint flakes-not distracting), complete with full descriptive leaflet of these Pennsylvania Plain People.
