PAIR of German (circular paper label), turkey candy containers, c.1910-30, in the form of turkeys (each slightly different in color) of painted papier mache with cast lead feet, heads are removable for access to the storage area. They measure aprox. 5" tall. Both are very well made, artistically painted (one has very slight wear from usage). They were used at one time as favors at the Thanksgiving table.
