Another version, #301, sewing mannequin set, "Fashiondol" by Latexture Products, Inc., New York City, complete in the original labeled box (still different from items numbered 4272 and 4273.) The doll, "Suzanne", measures 15 inches tall with molded on pegs in her circa 1940s shoes to insert into the base when the doll is not on it. Two complete (unused) original patterns, # 4938 and 4980 and a dress maker's ruler, sewing trim, thimble, original thread, booklet of needles and another booklet of fasteners, material and Simplicity Instructions for sewing book and a two-piece (nurse-type) outfit are included. The doll has paint crazing and a few old repairs but is an interesting example. This set is valued in "Miniature Mannequins" by Doris Mixon at $350 and shown on page 56. A great, vintage piece of advertising. We now have some VERY RARE and large, early MANNEQUIN figures (not yet listed). Please inquire! Here are their item numbers: #4798 and 4465.
