Beautiful, 21" tall, antique bisque sockethead child, model #168 by J.D. Kestner, of Germany, c.1910, all original, with lovely brown glass, sleep eyes with perfect hair lashes as well as painted lower lashes, sweet open mouth with row of SQUARE CUT teeth, thick, multi-stroke brows that compliment her original dark, human hair wig in ringlets with original barrettes. She has pretty cheek color and her original ball-jointed composition body is in excellent condition with good original finish. She wears a sweetly styled, pale blue plaid, cotton dress with dropped waist and antique lace trim, antique slip and pantaloons, incised: E 1/2 Made in Germany 9 1/2. 168 and is in very good condition except for (old reglued) half-moon shaped chip under the wig, original plaster pate. There is an extremely fine (almost impossible to see) hairline from that reglue over her left eye. Neither of these affect her appearance.
