8" tall, antique bisque sockethead child incised 1910 W. Germany 14/0 for Ernst Winkler of Sonneberg, Thur. This is one of the Sonneberg group of Grand Prize Winners at the Brussels Exposition as described in Coleman's second Collector's Encyclopedia of Dolls. She has exceptionally pretty bisque with inset, blue glass eyes, upper & lower multi-stroke lashes, tiny open mouth with row of tiny teeth, original five-piece papiermache body with molded and painted ribbed, black stockings and heeled brown shoes, original, navy blue dress with red trim and lace edge, orig. pale blond, curly wig and little headdress. Adorable little girl in excellent cond.
